The New Ajax Systems Integration on Insytly
If you manage a fleet of rapid-deployment CCTV towers or security pods, you know that keeping a site secure requires two things: reliable power and reliable intrusion detection.
Historically, monitoring both meant living with “portal fatigue.” Your operations team would have one tab open to check the battery voltage and solar yield of the tower, and a completely separate app open to check the health of the Ajax security system protecting the perimeter.
We are excited to announce that we are eliminating that disconnect. Our new Ajax Systems integration is now live, allowing you to bring your critical security telemetry directly into your Insytly dashboard.
Here is how we are bringing power and protection into a single pane of glass.
What You Can Monitor (and Control)
By integrating your Ajax ecosystem into Insytly, your fleet dashboard transforms from a power-monitoring tool into a comprehensive operational hub.
Based on the new Ajax Status component within your Insytly dashboard, here is exactly what your operations team can now see at a glance:
1. Live Hub Status
No more guessing if your primary security hub is online. The dashboard displays the live status of your Ajax Hub, including its current network connection (e.g., 4G) and its power source (showing whether it is running on 100% AC Power or relying on its backup battery).
2. Connected Device Health (Cameras & Sensors)
A security tower is only as good as its cameras. The new component provides a clean, line-by-line breakdown of every device connected to that specific hub. You can instantly verify:
- Signal Strength: Ensure your MotionCams or detectors have a strong connection to the hub.
- Battery Life: View the exact battery percentage (e.g., 100%) of every wireless camera and sensor, allowing you to proactively schedule maintenance before a camera dies in the field.
3. Relay and Output Status
Security isn’t just about passive monitoring; it’s about active deterrence. The Insytly dashboard now displays the live status of your connected Ajax relays. You can see whether your tower’s Lights, Audio, and Sounders are currently toggled on or off, giving you immediate context during a triggered alarm event.
Why This Changes Fleet Management
The beauty of this integration is context.
If a tower goes offline or a camera drops out, your team no longer has to cross-reference multiple platforms to diagnose the fault. You can look at your Insytly dashboard and instantly see if the Ajax hub lost 4G signal, if the camera battery died, or if the entire tower lost its primary power source.
By pulling Ajax data alongside your solar, battery, and router metrics, you drastically reduce troubleshooting time and eliminate unnecessary “guesswork” engineer call-outs.
How to Get Connected
Setting up the Ajax Systems integration for your off-grid security fleet is straightforward. Because we built this for enterprise fleet operators, the setup is designed to scale across your entire deployment.
- Use Your Existing Account: You simply need your company’s existing Ajax account.
- Secure Key Exchange: Share your Ajax API credentials/keys with the Insytly support team. We use these to securely bridge your Ajax ecosystem with your Insytly tenant.
- Map Your Fleet: Once the integration is live, you can simply add the specific Ajax Hub Number to the corresponding tower or pod’s profile within Insytly and then add your corresponding components to your dashboard.
Whenever you deploy that tower, its power data and its Ajax security data will automatically populate side-by-side.
